The Archive Viewer program is designed to allow easy, on-line access to information
from the county's old record books. All of the records from the old books have been
digitized and stored on-line, allowing the public to search and view the information
from these books, simply by accessing the On-Line Archive Viewer.
If you already know the Book Type, Volume, and Page you wish to view, simply choose the Book Type, enter the
Volume and Page and click View in the top section of the Search Form. The page will display on the right
side. See below for instructions on how to change pages and manipulate the image.
If you are not sure what Volume and Page you need, then view the Index Pages by selecting Book Type
in the top section, then select Township and Series in the middle section and click View Index.
This will display the first page of the index. If you know what index page to view, enter the page in the Index Page
box, then click View Index. See below for instructions on how to change pages
and manipulate the image.
To view the Key Chart (a table of contents of the index pages), select the Book Type in the top section, then select
the Township and Series in the middle section and click View Key Chart. Or when viewing the index pages, select the Key Chart
tab at the top. See below for instructions on how to change pages and manipulate the image.

The Image Manipulation Tool Bar is how you advance, zoom, rotate, save and print the images.
Use the blue left and right arrowhead buttons to display the next or previous pages. The Goto button
is used with the page number box. Enter the number of the page you wish to advance to, and click the
Goto button to display that page. The positive and negative
magnifying glass buttons are for zooming in or out the image. The yellow Fit to Width and Fit to Height buttons
will automatically size the image to fit within the image frame's width or height. Use the blue curved arrow
buttons to rotate the image left or right 90 degrees. Use the Add Print List button to add the displayed image
to your Print List or "Basket". Use the Print button to print the displayed image (Note: Adobe Reader is required).
Lastly, use the Download button to save a PDF version of the displayed image to your computer.
|
The Print List tab will display the pages that have been added to the Print List or "Basket".
This is an easy way to print or download multiple pages at one time. Simply click Select All, or click
the checkbox at the left of each line, then click Print Selected to print, or Download Selected to save
a single PDF file with all the selected image pages. To clear the Print List, click Select All then
click Delete Selected. We've also included Invert Selection and Deselect All buttons to help when there
are a large number of entries.
